Her story
A dream that took an unexpected shape
Sowmiya graduated with an MCAwith one goal - land a job at an IT company. But life had other plans. Marriage, two babies, and years at home quietly shelved that dream. Ambition doesn't disappear, though. It waits.
In 2020 she started over - from home, with no team, no network and no budget - learning digital marketing while raising her children. In 2023 she trained professionally at Social Eagle and stepped into freelancing. The beginning was tough; rejection was frequent. Then she found LinkedIn - and everything changed.
Her mentor Raj Gupta taught her how LinkedIn truly works - not a job portal, but a business engine. She showed up consistently and built her personal brand with intention. Clients started reaching out: first locally, then across India, then internationally. And then the moment that made her smile most - the IT companies she once dreamed of joining started hiring her. All of it through LinkedIn. Not a single rupee on ads.
In 2024 she stopped working alone and built a team - and Raise Eagle became a full digital agency that helps brands grow the way she did: organically, powerfully, through LinkedIn. Today it has served 50+ brands - startups, coaches, B2B businesses, IT companies and international clients.
